Teaching Philosophy
As a teacher I am dedicated to working with students individually to help them develop
self-confidence, self-discipline, independent thinking, creativity and an appreciation
of music. My strength in teaching lies in my ability to help students achieve not only
technical proficiency but also confidence in their creative ability. Every student is
unique and has a different learning style and because of this I believe in a flexible
teaching approach that caters to the individual. Music is important to a child's
development in many ways but most importantly MUSIC IS FUN!! My goal as a teacher is
to make learning music an educational, exciting and enjoyable experience.
